Sausage Making Workshop

We are bringing back the Sausage Making Workshop! Learn the art of sausage making with our Convivium leader and Chef from Il Paiolo Catering Vincenzo Velletri When Sunday, 8th off August – from 9.15am – for a 9.30am start – to 4pm Where We will be at the Gidgegannup Hall at 2171 Old Toodyay Road, Gidgegannup Showgrounds, Gidgegannup 6083 How it works Vincenzo will walk us through the history behind sausage making and his personal culinary traditions and recipes. Together with Vincenzo, we will then prepare the meat and fill the skins of the sausages. Once completed this step, we will enjoy a warm and traditional lunch as follows: Bread and olivesPolenta with sausage meat and with pork ragout (two different dishes) topped with parmesan cheeseVegetables in seasonTea and coffee At the end of the day, every participant will be able to take home a share of the sausages that we made. Please bring your own container to put the sausages in to take home. Prices $65 for Swan Valley and Eastern Regions Slow Food members $75 for non-members *You will need to bring your own chopping board and knife We have limited capacity of 25 people per workshop so hurry to get your ticket!
